Notice on the Selection Plan for the 2025 Fall Semester “Challenge Scholarship (Bisang)”

    “Establishment and Implementation of the 2025 Fall Semester Challenge Scholarship (Bisang) Selection Plan”

2. The 2025 Fall Semester Challenge Scholarship (Bisang) will be implemented as follows.
    Please actively promote the program so that many students may apply.

a. Number of Recipients (Planned): 77 students
 – Undergraduate students: 73
 – International students: 4

b. Scholarship Amount: KRW 1,800,000 per recipient

c. Application Period:
 November 17 (Mon), 2025, 09:00 – November 21 (Fri), 2025, 18:00

d. Application Method:
 Log in to the Chonnam National University Portal →
 Education Support → Academic Administration → Scholarship → Challenge Scholarship → Scholarship Application
 Write and submit a Challenge Plan online.

e. Selection Details:
 Please refer to the attached file and university website announcements.

Administrative Notes

1. Each College Administrative Office
    - Promote the Challenge Scholarship selection plan to students.
    - Staff in charge of approving Student Development Activity Records must review and approve submissions daily during the application period and ensure all approvals are completed before the deadline.
    - If the approver will be absent (e.g., on business trip), a substitute approver must be designated in advance.

2. Academic Affairs Office: Promote the selection plan to students on the Yeosu Campus.

3. Office of International Affairs: Promote the selection plan to international students.

4. IT Services Center: Update the online application system and post related information on the university website.

5. Career Support Office: Approve Student Development Activity Records.
